INTERNSHIP IN PBS KLCS
During my internship at PBS KLCS Public Media, I gained hands-on experience with professional cinema equipment like the Sony FX6 and FX3. I worked across lighting, script supervision, slate work, set design, and even multicam editing, where feedback pushed me to improve. Just as important, I developed soft skills: networking with professionals, collaborating on creative choices, and being part of every stage of production. The experience strengthened my technical knowledge and gave me more confidence as a filmmaker and storyteller.

Personal thoughts
I got the PBS KLCS internship in March, and honestly the application process was stressful but worth it. When I found out I was chosen for an interview, I was so excited, and a little nervous, especially since another internship picked me at the same time. For a while I thought I’d have to give one up, but luckily I managed to do both. At KLCS, I clicked right away with my director, Ibba A., and jumped into the fast-paced rhythm of daily tasks. It pushed me to grow not just in technical skills like production and editing, but also in how I worked under pressure and with a team. The people I met became mentors and friends I still talk to, and looking back, that summer changed me in the best way.
