The Lost Chords is a 18 minute film exploring self-discovery through music and art. Luna is lost and her only way of finding her true self is through things that she has left behind. Music has never been gone, it was waiting for her to remember.

NEIN, NOT AGAIN!

Nein, Not Again is a short comedy about a girl who really doesn’t want to fail her German quiz. Her friend gives her a random crystal that lets her travel through time, and she jumps between timelines to find the answers. Nothing goes as planned, and it all turns into a weird, chaotic mess over one quiz.

ZODIAC

Zodiac is a short documentary about the haunting case of the Zodiac Killer, the unidentified murderer who terrorized America. Through old footage, expert interviews, and storytelling, the film explores his coded letters, unsolved crimes, and lasting impact on movies and TV. It asks why this mystery still fascinates people and why true crime fans keep searching for answers decades later.

Just Be Present

Just Be Present is a short philosophical drama about a young woman’s struggle with self-disconnection. Set in a quiet library, her inner world takes form through three emotions—pessimism, optimism, and realism. By facing them, she begins to understand herself and learn to live in the moment. The film uses simple storytelling to explore the complex journey of self-discovery.

The film screened at NFFTY, Open Minded Media Film Festival, and the LAUSD Art Festival 2025, and was a Finalist at the California Student Media Festival 2025.

Granties & The Last Chicken Sandwich

Granties & The Last Chicken Sandwich is a comedic short set in a chaotic outdoor high school cafeteria, where the drama isn’t grades but lunch. Filmed in a mockumentary style inspired by The Office, it follows students as tensions rise over one spicy chicken sandwich. With sharp dialogue, awkward glances, and over-the-top personalities, the film humorously shows how the smallest things in high school can feel like the end of the world.

The Glass Menagerie: Promotional Reel is a short video that captures the heart of Tennessee Williams’s classic play. Through key scenes, vivid imagery, and powerful voiceover, it builds anticipation while highlighting the play’s themes of memory, family conflict, and fragile dreams.

Grant High School, dedicated to capturing the heartbeat of campus life.

segments, the show keeps the student body informed and engaged while

celebrating the voices and creativity of the Grant community. With a mix of

humor, personality, and professionalism, Lancers Today aims to make

school updates actually fun to watch.
